Convenient Laundry Detergent Liquid
"This tells how to make laundry detergent liquid!"
Move over powder, laundry detergent liquid is the new sheriff in town. Of course, that doesn’t mean the liquid version isn’t being challenged by soap or dissolvable packets. Either way, the fluid is becoming more and more popular because of how convenient and effective it is. While it is true that some of the chemicals can be harmful to the environment, manufacturers are doubling their efforts to lessen the impact.
Normally, the popular brands in liquid detergents are All, Xtra, Ecos, Purex, and Ariel. They all consistently get solid reviews and are very high efficiency, and are quality cleaning agents for your laundry, but you’ve probably figured out by now how expensive it can be to constantly replace your supplies.
If you haven’t heard about homemade liquid detergent yet, you might seriously consider it. On average, you’ll save up to $25 bucks off buying detergent in bulk. Depending on how much laundry you have, this can add up very quickly. Though there’s many different ways to make your own, one of the easiest ways I’ve come across is to take a bar of soap, a large bucket (probably about 5 gallons), a lot of tap water, big spoons and knifes, a measuring cub, and a box of washing soda. You’ve probably seen washing soda at the market and not even realized it – it’s by all the clothes cleaning supplies.
First you start heating up your water (try about 4 to five cups). Then, take your bar soap and shave off pieces into the water. Keep stirring that up. Then, you want to pour hot water into your large bucket (you’ll need about 3 gallons of hot water). Put about a cup of the washing soda in, and add the soapy mixture you cooked on the stove. Wisk it for a while and you’re done! All you have to do is let it cool off for a couple hours. When you consider how easy that is, you’re probably amazed that you never thought of doing it before. It does sound daunting, but the whole process really isn’t that difficult.
